Okay, so I'm on Will C's blog, and there's some interesting stuff on there. He kind a blogged about people doing art on a cappuchino. That's pretty hot. He makes faces and flowers and stuff. I wanna try that. I think this was actually an interesting video/blog post to see, although he didn't write much.So...I liked Kathrine's family blog and what she thinks of a family. Just like I do, she considers her friends her family too...which is cool. I like the fact that she has a lot of pictures on her blog too. I find it kind a funny that she says her and her sister are more mature than her parents...cool/interesting. Frustrations...Kelvin's blog. Everyone goes through a time where they are frustrated...especially me. In this blog he talks about how he is frustrated because of his IB classes and a class project that was due in our class. He also had more projects due in that class too. He was also having trouble with his partner and their tight meeting time. Lisa's blog... the random post one about music. I'm in music with her too. We had fun at Disneyland when we went, and we did have to work pretty much all year to get there. We still aren't the best sounding band ever...but I guess we're okay...we won silver and received a rating of excellent.Geoff had a good family blog too. He kind of wrote it in bullet points, but it seems more intresting then a regular paragraph blog. It kind a felt like he was speaking to me about his family...he described what they like very well.

RaNDoM Post

Well, I'm not too sure what to post about. I'll post about swimming. okay, so today we swam in PE. It was pretty fun. :] Only me, Leone, Jessica P, Lauren, Jessica S, and Courtney were swimming, and a few other guys we didn't know. It was pretty fun though. We were jumping in the pool and whatnot. It was so hot though. At least we were in the pool. It was all nice and cold, but not too cold either. Just right. Jessica S couldn't swim though, like, she doesn't know how to, which sucked for me and Courtney because she wanted us to stay in the shallow end with her. I wish she could swim, that'd be awesome. So yeah...I had fun, for the most part anyway. I like swimming a lot...at least it wasn't a cold day. People in my class only like swimming on block period day, which sucks, because it's not as fun without them.

So, today on del.icio.us, I searched for Mario Bros. .
What I found was a lot of cheats and a walk-through for the game. I've been interested lately in Super Mario Bros., well, it also may be because i'm doing a podcast about it. I've actully learned a lot of things I didn't know about it, and I just found the notes for the theme song on del.icio.us. That's pretty sweet. I now know where to look for cheats if I ever play the game again. I want to buy a new(old) nintendo again, I think it is fun to play, but i need to see how much they sell it for. Well, that's all for now.

Fuzzy Logic...?

" Fuzzy logic is a revolutionary approach to computer programming that mimics the way the human brain thinks and solves problems", or in other words... a computer programing made to "impersonate" a persons mind about how it thinks, and solves problems. Some advances to Fuzzy logic would be that it's cheaper. I think fuzzy logic is kind of confusing, and I'm not really sure what it is,exactly. I'm not really sure if it will "affect" my life at all, but for a lot of people around the world, it probably will.

Family...My family

So,...a family is, or can be made-up of people that love you and care about you a lot. I think your family can be your friends, or relatives, but not just anyone con be it. In my family, there aren't A LOT of people, but then again, i don't know them all. I only know the family from my mom's side . I have a grandma, three cousins, a mom, and three aunts, that live here in the US anyway. So, what is my family like? It really depends on the person.
My grandma is really nice, and is her goal to make everyone happy. My mom is kind a mean at times, and...yeah. She's always cold, not her attitude, she's just cold. My aunts are alright. They're actually fun most of the time, and they take me out to places. One of them does my hair and make-up, another is always concerned about how I am doing, and another one talks to me about anything, but most of all, they tell me to never, ever have kids. From two of these aunts of mine, came three of my cousins. Two boys, one girl. One of them, male, is 15, his brother is 10, and the youngest is 9. I get along pretty well with them, since they like to basically do the same things I like to do. We play soccer, video games, watch movies, and we like to be kids.

You can say my family has "different generations",...well, technically, we do. "Families evolve from a patchwork of possibilities". What do I think this means? Well, I think it means families go through a lot of things, and it can be rough, but through those things we all grow together, and make our family bigger in a way, it's kind a hard to explain, but yeah.

BattleOfTheBands/BandBash Documentary pt6

Well...today Mr. Hinman was playing our projects, and a few of them didn't work, including ours. How depressing. Lisa keeps blaming herself...but she's a "bleh" for it. It's not like it's her fault, well anyway, it didn't want to play because we have to put it on another CD, a CDR. Well,what "i learned" about our project was that people have many different opinions about music. I thought that a lot of people I know like the kind of music I like, but they don't. Some students have dreams/goals, but never seem to put them to life, but I learned that people actually can accomplish their dreams, no matter how crazy it might seem, like being a "rock star". From other presentations in class, I learned what that one game actually was, I forgot the name of it though, from Jeff's & Billy's presentation. From Lijah's and Anthony's presentation, I learned what the Wii game system looked like, and what the slight differences a PS2 & PS3 has. Well, that's all I learned so far, and yeah.

BattleOfTheBands/BandBash Documentary pt 5

Well, we had spring break last week, which wasn't so easy to deal with. Not everyone was available on the same days...only on Friday, so we tried to finish up our project. Darren brought his computer to Lisa's house, where we all met, and Lisa had all the footage and whatnot. We worked for about 5hrs over all that day, but the computer didn't want to download the footage onto the computer...for quiet a while. We plugged in the USB connection to Darren's computer, then Lisa's, and tried to find a way to make it work, but it didn't. About an hour or so later, we looked through the camera's menu, and found out that the USB stream was turned off...so we turned it on, and imported the footage,...or at least tried. On the program we were using, we needed Lisa's dad's password to be able to edit it, but unfortunately for us, he didn't want to give it to us by phone, so Lisa had to wait 'till he got back from work...at 6pm. Did I mention Lisa's dad didn't know Darren was a guy, and didn't want one in his house...so he had to leave early. A couple of days later, we met back at Lisa's house again, and finished editing it, and explaining things in out documentary, like who the bands were and whatnot. We added...interesting music, and put some things we edited out, way off topic, into the credits too. Another hard thing was dealing with Lisa's computer, it kept freezing, so we had to be turning it off, and back on again, which took a while. Well, the good thing is that we are done...i think/hope we did a good job...even though our video went pass the time limit required...(oops).

BattleOfTheBands/BandBash pt4?or3?

Okay, so this is our second week into this project i think, and well, not much progress has been made. We started interviewing people today during lunch, but we kind a ran out of time so we only interviewed one band, and like, 10 people at the most. Lisa has been sick lately, and she owns the camera, so it's been hard to interview people for that reason too. We couldn't really find many people that went, but we were only in one main spot, so we need to walk around school and stuff. Darren had to sell croissant's during lunch, so he couldn't really help us,...I don't even know why he has to sell them...I mean, does he get paid for it? Well anyway, that's all for now, we also need to work on it after school. Well, ok, I'll post later.

Band Bash!!!documentary pt3 "pitfalls and controversy"

Okay...some things Lisa "researched" last night. Some "pitfalls" to our
project is for one, we didn't get much footage of "Battle of the Bands/Band Bash" and
we also need to interview people. I think interviewing people will be easy, but finding
alot of people who went to the show.
Some arguments we may face would be controversy about what people think about the
whole show, bands, if they sounded well or not in their opinion, and if there even will be
another Battle of the Bands next year. The main organizer of this won't be here next year,
Lori Belcher.
Another argument may be about "moshing" and bringing in drugs to the performances.
The staff and principal get upset and don't really understand the point of moshing, but then
again, some students don't either. They will mock people and start to do what they think is
meant to be moshing, fighting and hitting random people.
I think that Capuchino should continue battle of the bands and yeah. Well...we still need to do more research and stuff, so yeah.

Some research Lisa did was finding the bands "myspace's" , and getting info on them.
On Friday we were at Battle of the Bands and researched all the bands playing and what they
sounded like. We didn't really do much. We had to find out all the peoples names and stuff to
be able to interview them this week.

BAND BASH!!!documenary pt1

Hello...
My name is Rebecca and my partners and I are doing a documentary type thing about
"Battle of the bands". It happened on March 16th, 2007 at Capuchino high school. My partners
are Darren Bechtel and Lisa Olsen. There were like....7 bands playing that night and they sounded
pretty good. That's all for now.
